The aim of the European Year of Cultural Heritage is to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europe’s cultural heritage, and to reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space. In early February, the European Council and the European Parliament reached a provisional decision to officially designate 2018 the first European Year of Cultural Heritage.
This initiative aims to raise awareness on European history and values whilst strengthening a sense of European identity. Read More
