Collaboration with Vakalo College

This artwork is inspired by PLUGGY (https://www.pluggy-project.eu) and embraces its vision as perceived, expressed and explored by the art students of Vakalo Art and Design College based in Athens, Greece. It also reflects one of the main objectives of the project to reach students communities and actively involve them in various phases of its developments, bearing in mind the importance of the younger generations’ engagement with culture related initiatives, as these are the future owners, preservers and promoters of the world’s cultural heritage. The Vakalo College is the first school of Applied Arts in Greece to offer programmes of study at tertiary level. Founded in 1958, with a history of 60 successful years, it has established a reputation as the foremost design education institution in Greece, and among the top colleges internationally.
